From policy to reality – shifting attitudes and practices from corporal punishment to safegurading children

Since November 2016 Brave Phone is a partner in two-year project From policy to reality – shifting attitudes and practices from corporal punishmen to safegurading children, co-funded by the Rights, Equality and Citizenship (REC) Programme of the European Union, along with Center Dardedze from Latvia and Empowering Children Foundation from Poland.

Project foresees preventing and combating violence in form of corporal punishment against children by multiple activities. Implementation of rules into reality will be achieved by involving national experts in discussions about the problem and organizing a research about attitudes towards corporal punishment and parental practice. Specialist in kindergartens and parents will get support by direct trainings and internet based tools (e-learning platform). Society and professionals will be informed about the problem of corporal punishment and available tools through social campaign and conference.
